Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design

Regional Social Mobility Scholarship

Application for the scholarship
Got a question?

In alignment with the University’s long-term international strategy, students accepted from the following countries will be eligible to apply for the scholarship:

Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Belarus, Croatia, Kosovo, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine and Russia.

Prerequisites

You can apply for the scholarship if you are a citizen of a country which is eligible to apply for the scholarship, and you have successfully applied on  apply.mome.hu for a self-funded ENG MA programme (Animation, Design, Interaction Design, Photography, Art and Design Management and Designer-Maker).

Considerations for awarding

Considerations for awarding the scholarship will include professional accomplishments, the applicant's home country and the income situation of the candidates. Applicants must complete an income statement form to confirm the monthly net income/capita in their household. This information together with their uploaded professional portfolio will be assessed and evaluated by our Scholarship Committee.

Tuition fee cover

The scholarship will be awarded in an amount covering 25%, 50%, 75% or 100% of the tuition fee, subject to the decision of a committee designated by the Rector and the Chancellor.

Number of recipients

The number of scholarship recipients will depend on the size of the University’s budget earmarked for this purpose from its revenue.

Duration of the scholarship

The scholarship will be granted for the entire duration of the training, as long as the scholarship recipient earns at least 15 credits per semester. Unless this requirement is met, the scholarship awarded will be terminated automatically without further notification.
